The authority principle is everywhere - and thus Cosmos too, and part of it is also that people are lazy. In this day and age, it's easier to listen to the "experts" opinions rather than asking your own questions. On top of that, there is this attitude from the "experts" of sometimes being condescending which also discourages truly meaningful conversations.

The funny thing is that we had plenty proof especially in the broader crypto industry recently that this is not the case. The "experts" do not necessarily know better, and they can fail more spectacularly than "regular people".

It's quite unfortunate that the Hub did not have a Constitution indeed, as it was even part of the plan and mentioned in the original Cosmos Whitepaper. I wonder where and why it fell off the list of todos.
